  I have been quiet on the blog scene as I have been fighting such pain in my arms. I have had a MRI that took 2 hours and it was fond I have compression on my nerves. I have lost the use of my hand -Typing with one hand is weird. WE have been trying to sort out pain killers but they are so strong I feel drunk all day. We have settled on Amitriptyline now. But good news I have signed up for the Nero Trial and that will soon start. People are waking up to the fact that the I industrial asbestos contamination is over but the new wave of contamination from asbestos in our buildings is harming the younger generation now. April Is Asbestos Awareness Month

April is Asbestos awareness month so I have backed Mesothelioma UKs Campaign   The fact is while other asbestos-related diseases often only develop as a result of heavy asbestos exposure, there is no accepted safe level when it comes to mesothelioma. Jobs involving direct asbestos exposure, such as carpenters and plumbers, put people at greatest risk. However, people working in occupations not traditionally linked to asbestos exposure can also have an increased risk due to the presence of poorly managed asbestos in buildings. These include healthcare workers and school workers. Exposure can also be para-occupational and can occur through exposure to asbestos present on clothing from those working in environments with heavy use or from living near an asbestos manufacturing plant. It is now over twenty years since the UK banned the use of all asbestos, yet the Health and Safety Executive says asbestos may be found in any building built before the year 2000. Catch up on my blog its been a busy month

 It has been busy this month as so many Companys have asked me to write article's and I have been working on Presentation's for conferences that Ray and I have been asked to talk at  I have been been so busy getting ready for my sons wedding as well . It was a huge surprise that my DIL and Son decided to marry after 17 years of living together.  We stayed in a lovely river hotel that had barges, cabins  https://www.roydonmarinavillage.co.uk/   The wedding was at Chesham Registry Office  So I have the wonderful DIL So caring that she even cut up my meat so i could eat it as I have a very numb hand. I did jokingly ask her to peel a grape ☺ So we had a lovely meal in the restaurant. The next day we travelled home and I caught up on the computer. I had an appointment Friday with my Oncologist who is making an arrangement for an MRI scan as we are worried about the numb and painful hand.
