Catch up on my blog its been a busy month

 It has been busy this month as so many Companys have asked me to write article's and I have been working on Presentation's for conferences that Ray and I have been asked to talk at 

I have been been so busy getting ready for my sons wedding as well

. It was a huge surprise that my DIL and Son decided to marry after 17 years of living together. 

We stayed in a lovely river hotel that had barges, cabins https://www.roydonmarinavillage.co.uk/ 

The wedding was at Chesham Registry Office 









So I have the wonderful DIL So caring that she even cut up my meat so i could eat it as I have a very numb hand. I did jokingly ask her to peel a grape ☺

So we had a lovely meal in the restaurant.

The next day we travelled home and I caught up on the computer.

I had an appointment Friday with my Oncologist who is making an arrangement for an MRI scan as we are worried about the numb and painful hand.

I have asked the Mesowarriors for help and it would seem it is common and now I have found a lump on the rib and in my back which makes me relieved Im having the MIR scan.

The wedding was a target for me now BTOG in Ireland is my next target.

Friday we went to a NHS meeting that I enjoyed my role as patient rep. I suggest everyone asks at their hospitals to become one. They really do listen and the chair asks me if I have any points to make. I do talk up as its the only way to get change.

We had a lovely visitor 

He did display his feathers but we were listening the speaker and missed it

  A Diary of a Mesowarrior living with Mesothelioma Scan results I had to go to my hospital for the results of my scan and I was so worked up about it. We were called in and we sat down and I held my breath. I told the Oncologist that I had lost the power of my left hand and the pain was so bad. This is just what happened right at the beginning in 2008/2009 when I was then diagnosed with Mesothelioma, the whole arm we numb, So we looked at my scan. We could see the new growth by the heart and the one by my ribs has grown by 10%, so once again the tumours must be laying on nerves causing all the pain and numbness. She gave me a prescription for Pregabalin Neuraxpharm which is a drug used for epilepsy but in a smaller dose can be used for pain. After chatting about what treatment to go with, we had to rule out Hit Meso the Proton beam trial as I have already had radiotherapy on my pluraldesis site and I had system 2 trial on my spine so that shuts me out.
